Ever since my childhood, I have been drawn to the event organising profession. I have always selected my schools and jobs consciously, keeping this goal in mind. I started my university studies at the Tourism and Catering Department of the Corvinus University of Budapest. Parallel to my studies, I first worked as a hostess, so I had the opportunity to gain insight into the background work required at events. I believed that I would be able to utilise the experiences gained there under real working conditions too, so I applied for an internship position at Silhouette. When I was informed that I could start working at the company, I was excited and scared at the same time. On the one hand, I could hardly wait to experience first-hand what tasks an event organiser must face, on the other hand, however, I knew that I would be facing completely new challenges.
My internship was truly eventful initially. I landed at the company when the team was organising a really momentous economic conference at a very short deadline, so learning the basics was very intense. Since then, I have participated in the implementation of multiple events, starting from Santa Claus parties to largescale corporate events to important economic conferences – the variety is great. I gained new experiences at all venues every time. I believe that as a member of such a buoyant and innovative team, I can learn a lot in the future too.
